Positive: I should not say it too loudly, but this place is amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and throughly stocked - dishes, cookware, toiletries, board games, and art supplies. The view is spectacular, but could be a distraction from reworking that novel that's been in your desk drawer for the past ten years. If you are actively seeking distractions, this is not place for you. You are at the end of the road; solitude and quietude will be your rewards. I went solo, but a couple and two well-behaved kids would work. Enjoy! (A special shout-out for Tanya, the woman contracted to clean the place; it was spotless.)
Negative: Need a can of WD-40 to get the squeak out of the desk chair.
Summary: I relish the prospect of a return trip.

Positive: Very quiet with great veiws. Quiet neighbors. Nice patio area. The stars are WONDERFUL! NOT safe for young children as there is no fence. Well set up pots, pans and dishes. Many left over spices in the cupboard. A nice washer and NO dryer. Ok if it's 110 degrees outside. The wall heater in the West end does not work. Could be an issue in the late fall. NO air conditioning. Can't imagine staying there in temps in the 90s and above. The propane grill does not work. Lot's of propane in the bottle. Parkfing for a boat is VERY limited. Anything requiring a trailer is going to be close to impossible. The dirt driveway to the cabin is steep. Might need a 4x4 to get back up if it is muddy. Otherwise fine. The path to the dock is rugged. No hand rail. Lots of care required. The bottom step of the dock ladder is about 16 inches above the current lake level (last week in September) making it difficult to use for a lot of people. There is no shore to climb up on. It is about 40 minutes from Chelan.
